The opening ceremony will follow the close of the day’s scientific sessions. Guests will be addressed by our Guest Speaker: Dr Quek Swee Chong speaking on “The Himalayan Women’s Health Project.” The ceremony will also feature entertainment from Jitterbugs Swingapore®.
Jitterbugs Swingapore® is proud to be performing at the opening ceremony of the RCOG World Congress. One of Singapore’s leading dance studios, Jitterbugs Swingapore® is committed to providing excellence in dance education, in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. Students study jazz, tap, classical ballet, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre and body conditioning. They are encouraged to achieve their own personal potential, while experiencing the joy of dance. Our dancers range between 3-19yrs of age, and train for annual examinations under the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance. Tonight they will present a lyrical piece entitled Somewhere and a jazz piece entitled Jai Ho! - both choreographed by Jitterbugs Swingapore’s® Artistic Director, Ms Tiffany Wrightson.
